Magis Property Management

I have a property in Buffalo and I've struggled with three different managers. Then I hired Magis three years ago and things have never been smoother. The building stays full and maintenance is taken care of quickly. They have a great team of tradespeople that renovated apartments from start to finish and the results were incredible. Best property management company I've worked with in Buffalo!

Lived under their management for quite some time until 08/03. Neighbors above me at 39 Somerton Ave had bed bugs and I was never informed, there were also other pest issues that were occurring that were not dealt with appropriately and communication was minimal. And after contacting them about the pest issues it would take over a week for any response on the next step. When there was a maintenance issue, they dealt with it pretty quickly most times but the maintenance guys half assed everything. And when they didn’t deal with things quickly there were times I had to re-request for maintenance as well as withhold rent to get a response. The Magis group recently purchased the house I am renting and I couldn’t recommend them less as a landlord. As a renter for the last 15 years of my life their communication has been the worst I’ve dealt with. When asking what the plan was for snow removal in the middle of a storm I did not get response for close to 24 hours. Mind you this was 1 week after receiving a cheery text message with a number to use if we had any questions or concerns. One week after a discussion with Magis asking for better communication they failed to respond to the same concern about snow removal after 6 hours and with night time approaching I reached out to their emergency number who assured that snow would be cleared by 6 am. I rented an apartment from Magis for two and a half years. I found them to be outstanding landlords - they responded to any requests l had promptly and efficiently. It is obvious they care about their tenants and their properties. Highly recommend!

Jeff and Gabe were great in helping my wife and I buy our first home. They were very responsive and knowledgeable as we were going through the process for our first time. I would highly recommend them to anyone buying a home in the buffalo area. They made is easy and I can't say enough good things about their work.
