New Tenant Alert! We have been here for two months now and so far it has been a wonderful. Our quiet apartment home is very comfortable and cozy. To begin, the office staff Millie and Lily both of theses ladies have been very accommodating very knowledgeable when it comes to the grounds. I love the fact that they are readily available and willing to answer any questions that I may have. I also enjoy the follow up phone calls after to make sure everything has been taken care of. We also have had the pleasure of meeting Junior after putting in a few maintenance request. He is very much on top of things making sure the request are fulfilled in a timely manner. He is another one who is very good with following up after to see if everything is working properly and to see if there are any questi
Pros: Maintainance quick, friendly, and almost always fixes the problem first time. Appliances newish. Quiet neighbors. Small shared backyard with a shaded private path, good for walking a dog. Cons: Building, carpets, and trim is very old with smells that dont come out even with washing. Overpriced. Parking enforcement zealous, no warnings if your hang tag expires, and your car is towed to a place an hour away. In unit dryer is finicky and hot air goes straight back in to apartment.
My husband and I recently moved out of Maclaren after living there for 4 years. Although my job relocated us to a different area of the cities, we likely could have made it work to stay there longer, however we were done paying so much money for what felt like little benefit. This apartment complex has very few amenities (in-unit washer/dryer, a limited gym, 1 garage parking space), and the buildings are quite old and falling apart more every year, in which management is doing nothing to upkeep them – I’m not sure how management justifies the steep monthly rent price. On top of that, maintenance requests take several weeks to be addressed (this is of no fault of Jr the maintenance worker, he works his butt off for the residents). Notice how I said maintenance worker, as Jr was the only one
Coming back here to say how awesome this staff is. I've lived here for nearly two years and they're all stellar. Most recently, Lillie (Manager) spent nearly two hours scrubbing surveillance footage for my lost keys (found them -- a squirrel carried them off), and Junior (Maintenance Tech) came in for a minor sink leak and took the time to fully replace a wearing pipe system -- *and* switched out our faucet that had water pressure issues -- in no time. Future tenants should feel good about the property team here.
I live in the building closest to Spencer Rd W. The carpet going to the underground garage is constantly wet and gross. Fortunately, the staff is nice and friendly, and Junior, one of the maintenance workers, is attentive. The other maintenance workers do a poor job. Now that we're not renewing our lease, apartment visits are annoying, and inconsistent with what we're told. Our dishwasher smelled awful for months. We got different excuses. Turns out, it was installed incorrectly. We complained about it multiple times. Our washer broke three times and flooded twice. After the second flooding, they got us a new one. The air conditioning barely works. The apartment gets humid and warm. Where we are located, it's loud due to the dumpster trucks. Parking is a nightmare by our building. There ar
