Lumiere Chandler Condominiums

1 star. I didn’t even get the chance to sign a lease before discovering serious issues with the unit. Management failed to disclose that the previous tenants smoked inside the home, despite Lumiere being marketed as a smoke-free community. The morning they called us, management stated they had personally gone through the unit and that only “a few small maintenance tasks” (like lightbulbs) remained. They assured us the unit looked good and was essentially ready. That was simply not true. If someone was in the unit that morning and still failed to mention the overwhelming cigarette odor, then we were either misled or lied to. When we finally walked into the unit, the smell of cigarettes was immediate and overpowering, almost like walking into a casino. This was completely unacceptable. T

We applied for a unit at this property because it is advertised as a smoke-free community. We selected a previously privately-owed unit and paid the application and $250 administrative fee before being informed that the previous tenant had been a smoker. We were not allowed to view the specific unit prior to applying. The smoking issue was only uncovered after our application was approved, and several days later when we were finally able to view the unit. There was still an incredibly noticeable smoke odor present throughout the entire unit. Management acknowledged the issue and offered remediation and vendors to treat the unit several days after our approval when we first were able to see the unit (thankfully before we signed a lease). Jocelyn has been absolutely amazing from the very beginning of my first contract at Lumiere! She is fast, friendly, incredibly attentive, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She gave me all the information I needed about my home and went above and beyond. When it was time to transfer to a different unit, she once again took great care of my wife and me—walking us through every option and giving us excellent advice on what to look for and consider. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Jocelyn!

All I have to say is Samuel, Jocelyn, Mike and Larry are the real deal. Samuel is the reason I moved into this place. Mike and Larry just do such a good quality job when it comes to maintenance. Jocelyn is also super friendly. Highly recommend moving in here

Was told by Elle (property manager) prior to moving out that I didn't need to spackle any holes in the walls or paint and I wouldn't be charged. I asked if I could get paint from the maintenance team to go over any spots that needed repainting (there was only one about a couple of inches big in the entire apartment). I also asked what I needed to do to clean and not be charged and she said that as long as everything looked clean I'd be fine. I spent 4 long days cleaning the apartment from top to bottom. Charges after move out? $400 for paint and $150 for "cleaning." Lumiere is a scam. I have called MULTIPLE times to request photos and evidence backing up these charges and they have ghosted me in spite of me leaving messages and talking to Samuel. No one has called me back to provide an ex
