Lubbock Association of Realtors

LAR is the shining star Association of REALTORS in Texas. They have an impeccable leadership team and Board of Directors. Their TREPAC effort is spot on year after year. The support for local REALTORS (agents) is tremendous, and the benefits are too numerous to list here.

Support staff and key administration are good. However, association leadership and board need greater accountability and/or better communication tools and procedures to ensure members’ concerns don’t go unacknowledged for weeks. Members need a formal avenue or system for submitting constructive feedback that is *acknowledged* and logged, and members should be encouraged and feel welcome to use it. In short: view members and their contributions as an asset rather than a burden.

I can't say enough positive things about the Lubbock Association of Realtors. I am from another market and they were beyond helpful. I honestly can't say enough good things about them! From making the initial call to join their association to getting correspondence from their team on the next steps! Top notch. I have had interactions with other associations while in a leadership role and I must say that my interaction with the Lubbock Association truly stands out! I only wish all associations were as knowledgeable and clear & concise in their communication! Thank you!

Holly McBroom, Tino, and Cynthia were wonderful. The office is well organized, the employees are well informed, and I was treated very well. I was even allowed to raid their coffee pot in the back. I will continue with trainings here.
