Been here a year and a few months and I honestly love it. The people I’ve met are absolutely incredible. Jaz is an absolute beauty of a human being. There are a few down side, just like in any place. The parking can be expensive, the many events that take place around here can be annoying. They have no breed restrictions! I’ve had my pit for 9 years and no way I was willing to part with her. So here we are! Again, all the residents I’ve met have been friendly and helpful. All the dogs I’ve met have been beautiful and sweet. My bf and I have hardly any complaints or issues here. (Sometimes getting a service call can be slow but it’s a big building)

The lowertown commons management team is friendly welcoming and efficient. We had a leak from an upstairs apartment a few weeks after we moved in and they fixed it very quickly. Any other issue I had was taken care of promptly. The building is beautiful and converted from an old rubber company and our apartment (1 bed with den) had high ceilings with wood beams and big windows. The residents are super friendly and it’s a very quiet place considering it’s a hotel style apartment. 2 elevators make it easy and trash chutes are on every floor. You can ask for a small storage locker that can fit a decent amount of things just nothing big like bikes. Lots of dogs and cats too! So you better like pets. The front staff sure does and makes your pets feel at home as well. Only things that were a

I’ve lived in this building for close to two years across two units, and while the physical space has potential, the management and maintenance situation has deteriorated to a point where it directly impacts quality of life. When I moved into my current unit, several obvious problems were present immediately: The bedroom lamp switch didn’t work The closet light didn’t work The shower rod repeatedly fell There was pooled water inside a ceiling light fixture in the utility area The smoke detector was beeping/flashing the night I moved in I reported all of this directly to the property manager, in person, and watched her write the issues down. None of them were addressed. Weeks later, when I followed up, I was told maintenance “hadn’t looked at it yet.” Months after that, a staff memb

I have lived here for barely 6 months, and the ONE working elevator has been broken at LEAST 6 times. It is constantly out of commission, making grocery shopping and simply getting up to my apartment on the 7th floor a nightmare. It has been broken now for 3 days, and I have had the flu this past week as well. I thought I was going to pass out going up 7 flights of stairs at least 3 times. The second elevator has been out of commission since I’ve moved in, and there have been no efforts made to repair this one either. On top of this, my many inquiries about parking in the resident lot have been brushed off. The building is beautiful and the staff can be very friendly, but resident concerns are not taken seriously.

Edit:60 day update Since I left my initial review, a few things have changed. 1. The trash is no longer an issue as there hasn't been a back up in almost 3 weeks. The addition of an extra maintenance person has made a huge difference. 2. The community room is more flexible now with alot of past and upcoming community events. 3. The management team has really taken things to the next level with their communication and making this place feel more homey abd welcoming. -----‐----------------------------- The loft option with beautiful high ceilings is what sold us on this place moving from FL to MN in May 2022. Now a year later, what has kept us here is 1. The location 2. The rent controlled increase Pros: Friendly staff (Kat brightens all of our day, Michele is efficient whenever i brin
