Purchased a new build condo from Lokal and have had nothing but problems since the completion date. From move in, the AC system didn't work. Waited weeks for a solution, which didn't work. Time after time, the "solutions" didn't work. After weeks, they had to drill through neighbors garage to redo wiring. Now the whole unit is having electrical problems. The lights in the whole unit are flickering on and off. Now the hot water heater is no longer working and other electrical devices aren't working. The entire building is less than 3 years old and it's been nothing but issue, after issue and an unexpected amount of low quality work for a brand new condo.

Do you love a warranty that contradicts itself? Then Lokal might just be your preferred builder... Because we had an uncapped washer pipe that flooded our living room within days of moving in, we were understandably worried when we noticed a water stain on our ceiling. I immediately emailed our usual warranty contact about the stain, but received no confirmation that anyone would be coming to inspect it. A plumber ended up showing up to our unit "as a courtesy"—because he happened to be on-site for a different leak in another building. I had no idea anyone was coming, and he ended up cutting into our ceiling to check what was leaking. Later, I was forwarded the email chain between the plumbing company and our warranty contact. Marina and her staff made my buying experience easy. I’ve been here about 3 months and I absolutely love my condo! No issues, the follow up with that warranty people was easy they came in and fixed the minor issue immediately. Not sure why there’s so many bad reviews but I’d definitely recommend buying as my experience has been great. No issues at all with anything in it everything works fine, made it through the summer I’ll update after winter.
