Lofts At Zebulon

I lived here for 1.5 years and I would not recommend it. They let trash pile up in the hallways and outside of the compactor. The entire building always smells awful. They also never cleaned in the stairwell. I frequently took the stairs (because the elevator was very slow) and there was a shrimp tail on one of the steps for weeks on end. The first month we were there, there was a drive by shooting and there were multiple occurrences of car break ins. We also found a gun that had been dropped in the parking lot one day. Any child could have grabbed it. The doors to the buildings were also broken and people would just pull really hard to let themselves in instead of scanning their keycard. Lofts at Zebulon is a wonderful facility. The very best part about it is the professional and friendly staff. Especially, Miss Phillis. She made our move in process seamless. Always well dressed and cheerful. Knowledgeable and helpful. I was not actually sure about what complex we were going to move into. However, after an hour with Miss Phillis, I was sure this was the place for us. Not just the beautiful surroundings, but the warm reception we received every time we came in the office.

It's been almost 5 months since I lived here. At first, of course, there were many things that disappointed me. But I realized it was because I didn't understand American culture well and didn't know how to handle those situations. But now I've been close to apartment employees. They always treat me with smiles and warmth. I was impressed that they tried to help me in many ways. Thank you all, Phillis, Kikora, Doug, Shonda, Jade and T. In particular, Phillis is always considerate, has a deep understanding of her work and tries to do her best. Lastly, thank you for many events and fresh, delicious coffee for the residents in the lobby. It's good to meet you all and always thank you.

The property looks very nice, clean with a sound foundation. The office manager was knowledgeable, friendly, and proud of the apartment complex where she worked and lived. The rent seemed reasonable for the location and amenities. The utility fee includes wi-fi and internet.

Lots of crime, avoid at all costs. May 11, 2024: Another car break in last night. Broke the passenger side front window. May 7, 2024: There’s been at least one additional break in. We’ve had a package stolen from our front door step along with 3 other people in our building. Cameras in the hallway are just for decoration and didn’t record who did it. The pool has been closed since summer of last year and remains that way through today. Most of the doors here will unlock when pulled on hard enough. The entire place smell’s like weed at all times. Management is charging $50 for safe parking spots closer to the buildings that are less likely to get broken into. This place is still going downhill fast. People are moving out left and right.
