Lodge at Black Forest

After living a month at the Lodge Phase 1, my wife and I are very impressed with the community. The apartments are quiet (or we have great neighbors), the maintenance team is very quick with work orders and very friendly, especially Mr. Collin. The leasing office is amazing! We were looking for apartments in the Springs area and 99% of the complexes we reached out to were AI-automated and did not answer any of our questions. Ms. Vanessa on the other hand was prompt to respond to all of our questions, even asking us questions that we didn't think of. She was very understanding because I was out of state at the time of creating our lease and very helpful throughout the process. Ignore all the reviews, and read this one if you want the honest truth!!! We lived here for a year. We loved it for the first half. Then things drastically changed. Some girls moved in under us and called noise complaints on us having a CHILD. Every single night relentlessly. The office staff had NO compassion and “sided” with these new move ins. We had an eviction notice on our door within a month of this. Even though I was very pleasant with them, even pleading with them to just understand that my child is being a child (within reason). That didn’t matter to them because they had “videos” of my daughter at 5pm sounding “loud” moving forward, we obviously moved out before the eviction went through and then we recieve a $3,800 bill!!! Alex was absolutely incredible! She was kind, personable, happy and had a warm and welcoming energy. She answered all my questions and was genuinely happy and excited to show me 6 different apartment models, yes 6! She was proud of what she was doing and you could tell 100%. Alex was eager to tell me about all the special features for each of the apartments and offering her opinions but never once being pushy or overbearing. My husband and I are moving cross country for work (I’m very nervous) and Alex reassured me that this place would be a really great fit for us for the big transition. My husband and I have been living here for the last three years. We have absolutely loved it! Everybody in the front office is incredibly nice and we have a great neighbors. We love all of the amenities and use them regularly. Our St. Bernard also loves it here as well! She loves all the dogs around and playing with them in the dog parks! She just doesn’t love that there’s a dog wash on site, haha! I recommend this place over and over again! Also, whenever we have a maintenance issue the maintenance team is always ready and gets the job done extremely quick. I put in a maintenance request one day and the very next day in the morning it was fixed! Highly recommend!!

Met my husband and he lived in the incline neighborhood for two years. Then got officially together and moved into a one bedroom in the summit neighborhood, safe to say they care more about the newer neighborhood. We’ve had issues with trash pickup, WiFi, and hardwood floor lies. They told us it would all be hardwood floor in the new apartment… it wasn’t. Was surprised when we moved in, in August and it wasn’t all carpet. We’re also pressuring us to move out because they already rented out our old apartment. They Were nice and helping during that situation though. We stayed because my husband has been here for so long and knows the office people from a previous apartment complex he used to live at.
