Live Oak Manor Apartments

Gavin helped me with my whole process I was busy after I did the application with sick kids and he really was patient with me held my application after my approval and come put my deposit to hold my place he communicated the whole way through he’s the best move here for him !!!!

When I moved in it was owned by Magnolia which was great. It was sold to a company that did not take care of the property. Numerous times there was dog poop in front of my apartment along with trails of poop going down the stairs. Nobody picks up after their dog. There was no maintenance to pick up trash and keep the community clean. Parking area was always a mess. Paper thin walls!! I could hear my downstairs neighbors yelling at all hours along with their dog barking. I would wake up to the smell of cigarettes and marijuana! Also I had a roach problem and I’m a very clean person. Disgusting !!! I feel like I lived in a section 8 apartment for the last year of my lease. I couldn’t wait to get out!! I have lived in the community for 3 years now and my experience has been exceedingly positive. There are the same issues here as any other apartment community (as others have mentioned), however, they are always responded to in a timely manner. I have had great experiences with maintenance staff as well as the management (Jessica). As far as the noise complaints, this is an apartment, not hearing your neighbors is an unreasonable request. If you are looking for a cute apartment, with a responsive staff, I would highly recommend Live Oak Manor

Avoid this place. Found roaches in closet (even one on a jacket) and bathroom over the months, very clean person and they haven't been in the kitchen so it is not due to food. Assigned my parking spot to someone else after 4 or 5 months of living here and then required me to "prove" the spot was mine or I would be given another spot. Walls are paper thin and you can hear absolutely everything from your neighbors and then have the nerve to charge 1400 as the icing on the cake. The only upside is that the maintenance team is very helpful and responsive, big ups to you guys.

I haven't even moved in yet and they are giving me a hard time in communication and giving me a run around going back and forth. I am supposed to pick my keys today, first they said to meet them at the office. Now they are saying they will just drop the key for me to pick up. I don't know anything about parking, where and how to park. When asked about how many keys I can get as it is a two bedroom apartment. They are saying only one key and only one car is permitted. None of it makes sense. I am renting a 2 bedroom unit. Why am I only getting one key and allowed to park only one car. My family and friends often comes and visit me is why I got a 2 bedroom unit and now after I already signed my lease and given them a deposit they are giving me a hard time before I have even moved in.
