Lilac Garden LLC

I have enjoyed living at Lilac Gardens. It's a quiet and respectful community. I like the security aspect of the key fob access to the buildings. The leasing office and the maintenance team are friendly and responsive to any inquiries. Over the years that I've lived here, they have continuously made upgrades to the property - paving parking lots, installing a very large trash compactor for household garbage, new roadway lighting, landscaping, re-staining balconies, painting and recarpeting of common areas in each building, etc.

Lived in building 4 from July 2019 to June 2020. Pros: 1. The rent is not high. 2. Enough storage in the kitchen. 3. Enough parking place. 4. Timely response from the management and maintenance. 5. Limited access of the building gate, which made me feel safe. 6. Close to wildcat transit stop. (Convenient for me as a UNH grad student). Cons: 1. Don’t have microwave in the kitchen. 2. The price of laundry is higher than my expectation.($2.75 for washing and $2.25 for drying but the capacity of washers are not large) 3. No bell. You have to come to the entrance of the building when you have visitors. 4. Seems like they have video recording but both the camera in the building gate and the camera in the mail room are not working. 5. The noise of heating system is VERY LOUD. 6. Not every apart

My husband and I started renting at Lilac Gardens back in 2019/2020. The apartment we rented was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath on the second floor. The build we rented from didn't have an elevator so bringing our stuff up the stairs was a little rough since the stair well is a little narrow. The apartment we rented also didn't have an in unit washer and dryer but they did have one for the floor and also a whole laundry room next to the mail room by the main office. When we order packages we do had to do a little search party sometimes depending if the distributer(UPS, FedEx, Other) places our item in the mail room(which has boxes label for each building 1-12) or in the foyer for the buildings main entrance. I absolutely love living in Lilac Garden! It's close to anything you'd need, but far enough away that it's quiet. The grounds are well maintained year around, including snow removal (and there's been plenty to remove this winter). Every building is clean, the onsite laundry is very convenient. My apartment was newly renovated prior to me moving in last summer. They are constantly renovating them as occupants leave. Nicole is especially friendly and helpful, and emergency maintenance is available 24/7. I've not needed them though! I plan on staying here until I retire and move away. I'd recommend Lilac Garden to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly affordable apartment.

We had to move quickly due my husband's new job position. We lived in a different city, more than one hour from here. After some visits in other places in Dover and Portsmouth, we came here and Nicole was gracious enough to stay after her close hour, taking us in a tour, and she was always kind, nice and very professional, clarifying all our questions. She made the process so efficiently that after the background check and the approbation process, we came next day for signing the contract and take the keys. Our apartment is in Monument Garden, and we love it! Our neighbors have been very welcoming and kind, the kids are well behaved...that shows dedicated and well-educated parents. The building is clean and well maintained. We are very happy with the whole experience!
