I have referred both tenants and clients to Lighthouse Partners in Buffalo, many times! Both sides of the spectrum have/are very happy! I lost their office phone number and had to look it up so I could give it to a tenant that is transferring from Buffalo to Rochester. That’s when I stumbled on these reviews. Very poor maintenance department. They have a very small in house staff so they have to sub-contract, and sometimes the owner of the property won't approve whomever they pick and the tenant gets left without any repairs. I'm a current tenant in one of their properties. Edit: Changed to a 1 Star Review for the following reason: As of December 24th 2017, my furnace was making strange noises and they sent a contractor to come check it out. he said it was just old, and would come back Tuesday the 26th with replacement parts. We recently left a property own by Lighthouse Management 995 Genesee Street . My boyfriend lived there prior before the management changed. We lived there for eight months and moved. First for about three months we had no heat called net office. The front and side entrance doors were never secured. It was to the point where homeless people would come in the complex and run aways. Someone off the street vandalized the washers and dryer in laundry room; stole all the quarters from the machine. They never answered our calls so we made reportsed this to the police and the net office. Oh, they owed RGE over 1700 and had to pay it or they were shutting the electricity off in the entire building They never told residents and we kept calling to see if they paid that bill before the due date. If I could give a zero, I would. The property has had bed bugs for over a year, and when the bugs finally came over to my apartment, management was half assed in their solution. The neighborhoos argue every night, and unless you have section 8, they will take forever to fix anything. Maintenance is the worst and will blame you for all of their ball drops. Would highly recommend AVOIDING these slumlords!

I wish there was a no star option this place should not be able to manage anything. They have not called me in 3 weeks and when I called to get my security deposit back I was talked to smart and hung up on multiple times. Very unprofessional I would not advise renting from them ever.
