Unfortunately, I would not recommend this inspector. There were several items in EVERY ROOM that were missed. Clogged drains, open wiring on light fixtures, one shower didn’t even have a working pipe to attach a shower head.Shower faucets corroded and breaking. Open septic gas leak under kitchen sink was missed. Water heater marked satisfactory isn’t functioning properly. Damaged siding that was missed. Carpets marked as “no odor” when they are completely terrible and not able to be cleaned, requiring replacement. Leaks that were misdiagnosed. The list goes on and on. 1000’s of dollars worth of damage that were missed. Do not use.

I contracted Rory @ Lighthouse Home Inspections to check out a house I was purchasing. I first called him on a Friday and he was there at the house on the following Tuesday. He definitely went over the entire house with a fine tooth comb. When I met Rory at the house after he finished the inspection, he gave me a thorough walkthrough of the house and pointed out the strengths and problem areas of the house. It was an older house and it was very useful to pick his brain about how he would go about handling certain problems as he obviously has a lot of experience working on houses and not just inspecting them. I compared his report to the inspection that the sellers provided me. The sellers inspection was only done a year and a half previously. Rory had at least twice the amount of po
