Liberty Place

I came to Liberty Place with genuine interest and an open mind, even after reading several negative reviews online. I decided to give the community the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed exactly what others have been saying for years. I scheduled two separate tours, showed up on time both times, and on both occasions I was completely stood up. No agent showed up, no one answered my messages, emails, or phone calls, and there was absolutely no follow-up, no explanation, and not even a basic apology. This level of unprofessionalism is extremely disappointing. People’s time matters—especially in a city like Washington, D.C., where time truly is valuable. Poorly managed processes. They drag their feet and you can barely get anyone on the phone or response if you have interest. Just know if you intend on trying to live in this place they’ll drag their feet don’t expect reasonable good customer service. It takes 1-2 minutes to do a background and credit checks… you can’t get a credit check standing in line at a retail store for their credit card and the only possible thing could take longer than a day or 2 is employment verification. Whoever is responsible for hiring this inefficient and ineffective team you did a horrible job. I guess you’re ok with this being the service that represents your management company. The place is real shiny on the outside but service is horrendous.

I applied over 6 months ago. I have never been able to get anyone on the phone since I applied. I talked to someone in the leasing office yesterday. She was very unhelpful, rushed me off the phone. She said that the manager wasn’t there and that there was no time frame on when I would get a call back. So unfortunate because this seems to be a nice property but poor management.

Pressing me out sending me emails, texts, and calls. To only get there and the receptionist gossiping with another staff member and acknowledging me with a condescending tone as if she doesn’t know why am I there. Then to proceed to say that they have nothing available. Then why list and have me go out my way for nothing? Such a waste of my time! Unprofessional

Not sure if this is a scam but this place and their customer service representatives seem a bit sketchy.I called a few days ago to get more details about a 2 bedroom apt. the representative did not have answers to any of my questions. He wrote them all down and stated a leasing agent would contact me with answers. I still havent heard fro any leasing agent. I followed up again today and was told by another representative that they cannot answer any of my questions because the building is still in construction. And that I need to wait until the building opens to get in touch with them. This sounded sketchy to me given that the building is supposed to open by next month. How do they not have any information about a building that is supposed to open in less than a month. Please do better and
