Liberty Military Housing - Murphy Canyon

If I could give zero stars I would.... The housing is awful.... Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and transparency shown by military housing management. The handling of housing concerns for military families here is deeply troubling. After raising legitimate issues, a family with young children was removed from housing consideration without clear communication or explanation. The lack of transparency and accountability caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Military families deserve better support, clearer processes, and respect when advocating for safe living conditions.

If you are MILITARY & have a family, DO NOT move here OR Kearny Mesa “Village” from LMH. This is not a safe area FOR YOU OR OR FAMILY. First day of move in, our car was stolen out of the garage AFTER they broke into the home. The Liberty staff here barely do their job and are extremely rude, the apartment itself is poorly made. Very cheap. Everything in it. I have a ring camera and there is vandalism of various properties in this specific neighborhood. Not only do they steal every Amazon package but, they also check to see if your door knobs are unlocked. Lastly, the rent is $3600. You can do better for $3600 almost anywhere in San Diego. These people like to rob our military families who are also giving up their lives for the service of our country. Please for yourself & your family, D

Great experience moving in, terrible moving out. Everyone was so nice and helpful getting me situated when I moved in. I didn’t realize what a pain it would be to move out. Unfortunately for me, my orders got messed up due to it being the end of the fiscal year. I had to detach from my old command earlier than anticipated, plus my ship was going on deployment. In other words I had to move my family out of housing prior to that. I tried to explain my situation to the office personnel and right away I was met with negativity. I said that I wanted to go ahead and request that an exemption be made, since the matter was out of my hands. Fast forward to today, I find out my request was denied and I still have to pay for 7 days that I wasn’t living there. It’s so unfortunate, I really wanted t

Amazing service for housing and maintenance needs. They are always friendly with each encounter. There is also a community center here with a pool, gym, tennis courts and basketball courts.
