LGI Homes - Luckey Ranch

Initially we were interested in leasing. Nothing more nothing less but These people have it all planned out. Will schedule you with someone who suddenly ends up “busy” just to have someone else come and hassle you about buying a home. Please DO NOT let them run your credit. My husband has been working on his and was getting good results. Unfortunately we let these people peer pressure us into running our credit which has since dropped his score almost 100 points. Left Really disappointed after the experience. Although the guy who showed us around portrayed to be a nice guy I now know it was a condescending Act!!

We weren’t wanted. Plain and simple. Person helping mixed up my information with my daughters had to correct that. Had to explain why one check was bigger than the other which was common sense it was because I was just starting. Didn’t believe I had money or the job said my bank statement and stubs would be ok, turned around said no it’s not still gotta verify employment, then see I’m CONTRACTED out of Houston not my permanent location btw, MS Hope then tells me to move to Houston! Told me provide proof I’ll be working there in order to live in San Antonio I’ve NEVER had this happen anywhere else! Just didn’t want US there. I’ll spend my money where we’re wanted before I beg to spend it where they’ll do this to you. Just kept coming up with ways to keep us out.

First, the HOA fees are excessively high for the little amenities that we have here. Next, there was an issue with the installation of the Hardy plank. When I visited with the on-site supervisor, he stated that they followed their standards. When I showed the installation standards from Hardy Plank, the supervisor said we followed standards and LGI did nothing. Also, at least 6 to 10 homes within a two block area, three right in our cul-de-sac, have had to have foundation repairs on homes less than 10 years old. Please stay away from LGI homes as they are not well built.

I am so happy in my new home. Brian got me an amazing home and helped me prepare for the loan process. This community is amazing and my home is beautiful.
