Lennar at Providence

Edited to remove a star due to Lennar’s response to this review. Why ask me to email you with my contact information if you weren’t going to bother to respond to my email? You deserve a one star review for how you treat your customers. The community of Providence is nice but Lennar leaves a lot to be desired. They are a very dishonest company and will lie to you about what they can offer. I went under contract in late 2024 and tried to get fridge and washer and dryer included in the deal (Lennar used to boast "everything is included" but stopped including all appliances when business was good). Patrick is the best! House's are beautiful and good quality. This review was before closing. **UPDATE-after closing, you must keep on Lennar in order to get things fixed or completed that were not done before closing. I recommend not closing until everything major is complete otherwise you'll be chasing them for the whole length of home warranty.

Updating my previous review. We were initially happy with our purchase of newly built home with Lennar homes, since we have been here we have not gotten all of the things fixed that we saw in our walk-through. We were told that if we signed the walk through paper things would be repaired by the time we moved in. We went 2 days later to sign our papers and upon entering our Brand new home, our first, NONE of the items were fixed ! I immediately took and sent pictures to our liason Axana ,who is no longer here and we didn't hear from her replacement, Lenear, until we had to track him down. Now he is telling us that none of it can be fixed. Went into Providence with our realtor to view the homes available. After spending 20 minutes on line to get into the community we walked into the sales center. A sales agent was sitting in her office and didn’t even acknowledge us. She seemed uninterested and rude. We were asking her questions and she had short answers with no assistance at all. We left there feeling very disappointed. We were looking forward to possibly purchasing in the community.

The property has exhibited significant inconsistencies within the first year of occupancy. Issues include plumbing problems resulting in flooding due to sewer backup, faulty electrical systems causing fuses to malfunction, and inadequate ventilation leading to temperature regulation challenges.
