I have had an older home and I have had a new home built from ground up. I understand the process beginning to end. One thing that is a must is the quality of the products used to build the home and the customer service. I am purchasing a home in the Hunter hills community. Derek, who is the rep for the project not only met my expectation of high customer service, he was extremely knowledgeable. He is very patient and made sure that I understood the purchased agreement even through I read the entire agreement myself and my agent. When touring our home, he made sure to point out all the features in the home and took us to other models similar to mines so that we could see what the home looks like furnished. I want to share my experience with Lennar. We bought a new home at the end of April 2024 in Hunter Hills Otsego. The house had no asphalt and grass. Lennar assured us that all the exterior work would be completed by July 31, 2024. So today is August 12, 2024, and all we have only is asphalt. No grass, no irrigation. They just don't work. They say it's bad weather, but that's a lie. As of today, there hasn't been rain for a week, and still no work is being done. I haven't been able to use my yard all summer. This is not what you expect from buying a new home. I'm so sad. I hope they see this review and start doing something.

I closed on my new build home from Lennar at the end of May 2022. After barely 2 months in my new Lennar construction home in Hunter Hills, Otsego Minnesota. I saw a big gap in my living room ceiling. The ceiling crack was over 30 feet long and engulfed the whole living room. When I contacted the warranty department at Lennar they sent me one of their worst construction managers. When he came he turned my house upside down trying to find any little thing he could find so as to deflect responsibility from Lennar onto me. When that failed he claimed that the gap was not wide enough and that it would cost Lennar over 10k to fix the damages so Lennar was not going to do it . I have a brand new house with over 30 feet of a ceiling crack and Lennar is claiming that they don't have to fix it beca
