Lennar at Brookmill

Buying a home from Lennar has been an extremely disappointing and frankly alarming experience. Upon closing, we discovered multiple serious health and safety hazards that never should have made it past inspection. There was a gas leak in our water heater, and the stove that was included with the home was leaking dangerously high levels of carbon monoxide. The stove was not—and still is not—working properly, leaving our home smelling like gas for hours at a time. This is not just inconvenient; it’s unsafe. To make matters worse, the microwave was improperly installed. Instead of venting air outside, it simply recycles the air back into the house. When we called Lennar to have this corrected, we were told this was “normal” and advised to open our patio door when cooking. Excuse me? Absolut

I’d like to preface this by saying that in general Lennar has been alright through my home buying process. However after trying to get the $2,000 dollars that they owe me and keep saying they’ll give me over the last 7 months . I can’t speak poorly enough. There is no urgency or care for their customers. I understand $2,000 dollars is not a big deal to Lennar. But to a growing family it’s a lot. They lie and say they’ve sent it, or they’ll send it over and over and over and over again. My contact has been Brendan, who tells me what I want to hear and then blames accounting over and over and over again. Don’t buy a home here.

My first home buy and the entire Lennar team has been really helpful. I’m super blessed and grateful for the support and opportunity to buy a home. Home buying can be intimidating but with guidance and knowledge, it has been such a smooth ride.

Buying a home at Lennar Brookmill has been an absolute nightmare. It has been over a month since we closed on the house, and they still haven't laid sod in our yard, despite repeated follow-ups. Even worse, on day one of moving in, we discovered a brick lodged in the sewer plumbing, which caused water to back up into the house. That issue alone was shocking and unacceptable. To make matters worse, our stove hasn’t worked since we moved in. They've replaced five parts already, and it’s still broken. There’s been no urgency or real resolution. The customer service has been extremely poor—just a constant cycle of being redirected with no real answers or accountability. Please think twice before buying here. This experience has been beyond disappointing and incredibly stressful.

By far the WORST experience I've ever had. Not only do I have to continuously call your customer care representatives and construction manager's to actually get feedback from them. I'm pretty sure you're paying them to do nothing. My home orientation was done online as I was unable to be present for the orientation. At no point was the fact that the builders damaged the tiles in my home brought up or even talked about. Upon arrival to the home I found discovered that no clean up was attempted at all as there was grout all over the windows and the surfaces of the home. The driveway is cover in mortar drops that have solidified. Half of the flour bed in my front yard was missing mulch as well.
