Lennar at Altamira

My experience with Lennar was not good at all. I was interested in buying a property in Altamira, in South Florida. I even paid the deposit, however, I was never informed that the condominium would be very close to a quarry, where there are explosions and noises from the extraction of stones. I have an autistic son, and he could not live in the aforementioned property, as he has severe behavioral problems and very high hearing sensitivity. From the moment we became aware of this situation in the area, we contacted all possible email addresses to recover the amount of $72,500.00 (seventy-two thousand and five hundred dollars), and to date, we have not had a resolution to the problem. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Lennar. Throughout the financing process, communication was poor at best. The sales office, loan processors, and support team were largely unresponsive to both emails and phone calls. When things didn’t proceed exactly as planned with financing, Lennar’s representatives simply disappeared, leaving us in the dark with no clear guidance or accountability. This has been an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience. If you're considering working with Lennar, be cautious—do not give them your money unless you’re absolutely certain your financing will go through exactly as they expect or they will keep your money. There is no flexibility, and no one takes responsibility once problems arise.
