They are charming, incredibly helpful and prompt until they get you signed into a lease. After that, they don't return phone calls, customer service is incredibly poor. It took them a month to get our dryer fixed, and were incredibly rude when any of the tenants called to ask about an ETA for it to be repaired. The lady that lived above me was an awful neighbor - even after multiple police calls to the house Legacy did nothing about it. Legacy also lied about advertising my apartment for a new leaser when in fact there was NO advertisement for it. Make sure, whatever you do with them GET. IT. IN. WRITING. They'll say one thing and then do another.

Worst service ever. The landlord was incredibly mean and deceitful when I had to leave. She told me I could leave a month early since she found someone else to rent it and I wouldn't have to worry about breaking the lease. That lady didn't even bother giving me a call or send me a letter or email, a month later I get a collections letter. Not only did she charge me for the last month but also cleaning although I had hired someone to clean it. And my deposit wasn't enough to cover the cleaning. So I end up owing rent plus cleaning and she didn't even tell me, but went above and beyond to send it to collections. I met a couple other people who she screwed over. What we all have in common? Legacy managed the building I lived in for five years. It was located in downtown Sioux Falls. They did a great job running our home owners association meetings and oversaw the budget. They also provided updates on downtown events and socials that might be of interest. Whenever I called the office Joann M. was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Legacy when it comes to meeting your real estate needs.

If I could give less than one star I would. Two of my friends and I were going to move into an apartment shown to us by Carrie from Legacy. We signed a holding form for a specific apartment which she promised would be kept for us if we signed the holding form and placed a deposit, so we did. Two days later Carrie called to tell us she accidentally gave our apartment to three guys. We ended up deciding not to move in or see different apartments from her because her response times were days to weeks apart. Carrie finally answered to tell us she would refund our deposit, in September, and has been ignoring us ever since. We have each called, texted, and left voicemail. Don't rent from them, Carrie specifically.

I've lived at Northridge for a little over two years now. I'm on the 3rd floor with vaulted ceilings, and I love my apartment! It feels a lot more like a house than an apartment. I use the underground parking for both of my vehicles. It's really nice to have them at a nice 65 degrees no matter what's happening outside. There's a great gym on the first floor if you're into that, and a community room you can reserve for parties. Like any apartment, you can hear noises from time to time, but I've never seen an apartment that was completely silent. The management is great, especially Joanne. Always easy to get ahold of and quick to reply.
