Legacy Ballantyne Apartments

☆☆☆☆ The worst place I’ve lived in 13 years. This complex is a total nightmare. There are cockroaches, car thefts, and the maintenance is awful — nothing ever gets fixed properly. The management is rude, unprofessional, and discriminatory. They make you feel targeted because of your nationality, and racism is clearly present. The office staff cares more about an unleashed dog than providing decent service or keeping the community safe and clean. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful, clean, or peaceful living environment. Stay away from this property

Absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed at. Staff are too immature to lead this community and get angry at the little things. Very little maintenance, we had an AC Problem that took weeks to fix and the staff absolutely are not good at all with dealing with stuff. Please, I beg you to never move to this community.

The community, Legacy employee responsiveness, quality of apartments, neighbors and surrounding area have kept me living here for 3 years. The community has invested back into the pool, fitness center and clubhouse to maintain high quality for tenants. The community consistently holds fun social events to keep tenants engaged. It is a great place to live that provides a tranquil home removed from the city, yet has enough shops and activities in the area.

The last year was pretty difficult financially. The girls in the office were so very helpful in helping trying to pay rent and providing options to help me. Always supportive and compassionate to their tenants situations. The remodeled apartments are beautiful and cozy. Pool are is comparable to a spa resort setting-just beautiful. Quiet surroundings and convenient location to shopping, dining, and many walking trails.

We've lived at Legacy Ballantyne for a year now and are 100% sure we picked the right community. We selected Legacy Ballantyne because of its grounds, maintenance and the many pluses in the unit itself. Over the past year we have been very impressed with the office staff, resident portal and the outstanding maintenance group. This week, the office team offered a free bagel to go to those of us heading out to work. Their friendliness and positive attitude makes Legacy Ballantyne, the place to live in South Charlotte.
