READ THIS!!! LCLemle is borderline criminal. There are safety hazards they ignore and they gaslight their Tennant’s when they raise concerns. 505 E 88th Street is poorly maintained, incredibly dirty, infested with rats, and smells like sewage. The management doesn’t care. We had a gas leak in our apartment (that maintenance ignored for weeks until it was flagged by ConEd) and LCLemle put their lawyer on us to tell us we were wrong and fabricating the situation. Mediocre NYC landlords are very common, but LCLemle is purposefully negligent and will be glad to take your money while they knowingly let you live in danger.

Definitely should have listened to the bad reviews before I signed here. Theres consistenly no hot water and neighboors are noisy. Building is so cheap you can hear everyone. My biggest regret was choosing to rent at one of their buildings rather than another company.

I rented with LC Lemle for just over a year in one of their Kips Bay buildings and couldn't have had a better experience. Very responsive, reasonable rent increase, and great apartment at a fair price (for NYC). Highly, highly recommend.

A horrible management group that is at best dismissive of their renters and at worst, hostile towards them. I would avoid at all costs if you're in the market

LC Lemle is a great real estate / management company and stands out among what can be pretty terrible rental experiences in the City. The leasing staff are very helpful - recently helping me transfer to a new, larger unit after two years. The new unit had clearly had some upgrades to appliances and counter tops, which was nice to see the investments being made in the apartments. Maintenance is also significantly more responsive than I've experienced in other NYC apartments. Highly recommend!
