MOLD IN APARTMENT 53!!! I stayed here over a year and a half and became terribly sick due to mold all throughout apartment 53. At first it was no big deal, I couldn't even smell the mold, but over the months of exposure my body shut down and I had all these strange symptoms from severe anxiety, brain fog, memory issues, food intolerance's, muscle and joint pain, etc. I am so disappointed this unit wasn't properly abated and cleared. I continued living there not knowing why I felt like trash. I began to see multiple doctors, but I had more success self diagnosing as mold symptoms can vary and mask many other common health issues. I took a blood test and I was tested for the antibodies of 12 of the most potent molds and tested highly positive for all 12!!! Don't believe me, look at the phot

I have really enjoyed living at Las Casas, and I would not be leaving except that I am purchasing a home. It is pristine, quiet and secure. Despite all of the activity of other apartment buildings, the freeway and the air traffic,it has a resort like atmosphere that makes you feel like you are on vacation as soon as you come home. The amenities, laundry room ,pool and small gym are just icing on the cake. The management is top notch. Any issues with your unit are promptly attended to. It has been a haven and oasis for me and I encourage anyone who is looking for affordable living space to check it out. It's probably the nicest place I have lived since coming to SoCal over 34 years ago.

UPDATED: My Response to response from owner. Since you took time out of your schedule to read and respond at length to my concerns, I will respond to you. I got no pleasure from writing you a scathing review. If what I said does "not accurately reflect what you are striving for" would please make a liar out of me? In closing I want to say that, I do realize you are not responsible for the shootings that take place up the street - that sort of thing is out of your control completely, and from my vantage point you are just as much a victim as the rest of us. Attitude makes a huge difference in life, and Mayra's attitude and actions make Las Casas Apartments shine. We looked at other "nicer" looking apartments around the immediate area, but building managers/agents showed up late, rescheduled last minute, had an indifferent attitude, saying, "I don't know. Look it up on the website," and not going above and beyond (for example, looking up the travel time between the apartment and work/school) is what ultimately made my fiancé and I proceed with Las Casas Apartments. I firmly believe in being in the company of people who, through their actions, show you that you matter.
