Not for single star. If you looking for a commercial retail space please don’t consider. They will allow you to operate your business without CCO and after you start your business they will start harassing you. After the rent payment they will order which space need to use and which not. They will give you first two months free then after they will start to apply for CCO. So once you finalize your storage space and everything they will come to you and tell you don’t store in that space that’s for not storage purposes. They will keep enforcing you to pay the rent. Josh there is a property manager who has no experience how to handle the situation only send you the emails you are operating business so you need to pay rent. Only they are hungry for the rents. There is one more dummy person her

I chose this complex because it was advertised as a luxury, non-smoking community—but that hasn’t been my reality. I’ve reported ongoing smoking multiple times. Management assured me things would be done, but the smoking continues. They said they can’t take further action without a picture, yet they aren’t holding themselves accountable to the lease agreement either. There’s no increased surveillance or follow-through. They expect residents to take pictures—but if the smoking is happening inside a unit, that’s virtually impossible. What’s most frustrating is that management is quick to collect rent—well over $2,000 per month—but not nearly as quick to enforce the rules or protect residents like myself who are being affected. My health has suffered, and I don’t feel valued as a tenant. I

Bought my apartment complex about a year into living there. Fired the property managers, who knew us and the buildings well, by posting their jobs in the paper. We're on property manager number 6 or 7 since the takeover (about 2 years' time). They started doing remodeling about 8-ish months ago. Very little has been finished, but projects are continuously being started with little to no communication to the residents. We've breathed in unventilated construction related debris (wall dust, wood dust, paint fumes) and the staircases have been stripped for almost 2 months, making my roommate and I have safety concerns. The hallway floors are also stripped now, making me feel like I live in an abandoned building. I'm embarrassed by it and I don't want to have company over due to the construct

They really suck. Their maintenance don’t do their job. They locked me out and took 2 hours to unlock me after they failed another work order. If you do it yourself they get upset. When you call them they don’t resolve the issue. They just want your 3k in rent to go down the drain.

I recently applied for an apartment at one of Larken’s properties in Bethlehem, PA and felt incredibly blindsided by the non-refundable move-in fees, as well as additional monthly fees, expected of me after my application had been accepted. The $350 non-refundable admin fee due within 24 hrs of my application being accepted was especially ridiculous as I had communicated to the employee who contacted me from their office that I did not want to commit to anything until being able to tour the property which, before I was informed of this admin fee, she told me would be fine. Some of the other non-refundable fees I would have been expected to pay before move-in were a $100 township fee and a $50 utility install fee. I also would have been expected to pay $50/mo extra for water and trash. And
