I lived here from 2023–2025 and had a very positive experience overall. The staff are consistently friendly and truly go the extra mile for residents. Dwayne and Abby were especially wonderful — they made me feel valued and taken care of during my time here. Maintenance was also very responsive whenever I submitted a request, which I really appreciated. I’m not giving five stars because I do feel the apartments are somewhat overpriced for what you get. Parking is especially expensive at $125 per month, and towing is heavily enforced, so guests need to be very careful. The atmosphere can also be loud at times, as many residents are college students, and there were nights with people drinking and running down the halls. That said, aside from those downsides, I don’t have many complaints. O
I spent 2 years at Lark. It is by no means the worst place to live. However, given its price and claim of being a high-end apartment, I would highly recommend living anywhere else. Before you choose to live there, I beg you to listen to my personal account of my stay there. I would say the repeated greed of the complex owners would dissuade me from ever living at an apartment owned by the Scion Group LLC. For perspective, I paid over $1,100 per month to live in this overpriced hotel. With 3 roommates. To start, when I first got there the apartment was disgusting. I was assigned a random roommate who happened to be subleasing, I never met the person subleasing. This person left rotting food in the trash, in the pantry, in the cupboard, and in the fridge. Lark apparently never bothered to
My time at Lark was not awful by any means in terms of staffing and the environment itself is decent for being a college apartment; however, I had some issues with move out. I was working my full time job around move out (which was on a week day at 12) and wasn’t able to get help from family given awkward timing of date. Due to these circumstances, I wasn’t able to get as thoroughly cleaned as I wished to which questionable cleaning charges were made and paid without much complaint. Despite those charges, I did have a ridiculous and unjustifiable amount charged to my account for carpet repair. Attached in the repair statement were two small stains that appeared to have been caused by some bleaching. In my time at Lark I had never used any bleaching product or any product that would explain
Finally. Where should I begin. First off, I want to compliment the maintenance crew: possibly the only positive interaction I had in this place. Always nice and will talk to you even just passing by. However, everything else about this place is commercial theft. Yeah, they give you a place to stay, but they make it unbearable. Between DISGUSTING apartments on move in, inaccessible management, and the move-out scams (absolute ridiculous pricing for minor flaws in the apartment on move out), I am so glad to be out of this place. Lark, do better. Just because it’s primarily college students living here, it doesn’t mean you should take advantage of them. Disappointing to say the least and I hope you can make an adjustment.
Don't waste your money on these apartments. Completely unprofessional management team. We pay obscenely high rent with little return in customer service or professionalism. I recently had a very large limb fall on my vehicle after living at this facility for 2 years. I was offered no assistance at the time, even with the 24-hour on-call staff that is paid for with our rent. The individual on-call did not assist in removing the 500 lb.+ limb, instead I was left alone in the parking lot to solve the problem myself. The management then lied and told me the tree was not owned by them and therefore not their responsibility. This proved false as I spoke with multiple sources confirming their ownership. This reflects the shady practices of the management that would continue throughout my communic
