I love my apartment. It’s spacious. When I applied for one it met all my expectations. Downstairs, washer/Dryer hookup and cat/dog friendly! Very friendly management. Anytime something stops working or just needs to be checked the maintenance guys are on top of it!! Wish there was more parking. There is only 1 parking spot per apartment. But if that’s all I have to complain about then that’s a great thing! Highly recommend The Lancaster Commons

Lancaster Commons Apartments office personnel are always helpful, with my questions and give clear clarification. The maintenance team are efficient, fast responding as possible and respectful. I feel well received, understood, and treated well.

Terrible pricing, the unit i moved intos appliances are on their last leg, the maintenance staff will accuse you of causing maintenence issues when they forget to do stuff. The property manager literally admitted to having control issues, and i just had a maintenance guy try to tell me saying that by state law my dog has to be on a leash when in reality its just their property, as well as some city/county statutes. They wanted to come in and inspect but i was sleeping so they rescheduled the day to where i had to take time off work to let them in and they just never showed up. Stay FAR away from this place if you want a decent apartment run by decent people. Oh, and be sure to get everything in writing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I lived in a few places in the last 25 years and got my refund back almost 100% not quite but I said 80% of it. I lived at this place for one year told me I had a one stain on the carpet and they had to replace it and costing my whole entire deposit. I’ve heard a lot of stories about them taking your deposit and really not replacing anything. Lol I wouldn’t be surprised. They didn’t replace the carpet and just took my money. It’s OK. Though I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone for the future, there’s way more better places in Salem to rent but wait for the Response people. Had a major back up in the plumbing flooding the apartment, the staff responded admirably. They got back to us fast and got on the situation immediately. What more is that they responded with understanding and concern. Something many complexes can't seem to do. Props to management and maintenance. Thanks.
