Kara Sachs: My wife and I were interested in a home. We asked for a seller disclosure. We looked over the disclosure to rule out any basement water issues or foundation issues. We make an offer. We go to inspection and find that the sellers did not disclose water issues or foundation wall cracks around the entire perimeter of the basement. We had to rescind our offer due to the failure to disclose as we do not want to buy a $450,000 home with foundation issues and water issues. The realtor then made us out to be bad guys and told us that the sellers may try to keep our deposit. Our realtor then messages us days later that we are getting all of the escrow monies back including our deposit to the seller and that she will no longer be representing us. Shame on her.
