I’ve had a great experience visiting the Lakewood Manor Apartments! The community looked very clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The overall atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. The management team is professional, responsive, and genuinely seems like they really care about the residents. Shayla was super helpful when it came to showing me and my boyfriend the apartments that are available! I would definitely live here.

Living at Lakewood Manor has been a pleasant experience, and the staff, both leasing office and management repairs, have been professional, quick to respond and helpful especially with maintenance requests. My one big complaint is that the dryers do not heat high enough to fully dry the clothes in one cycle and usually needs two dry cycles. It would be very helpful if the dryers can be reset to dry at higher temperature similar to the ones at the laundromat.

Terrible communication and customer service. Applied for an apartment and weeks later still no response. No denial whatsoever or acceptance. I literally told the leasing office I had until the 30th before my lease was up. They said it would take 2-3 business days. Well it’s the 30th and still “management” hasn’t called or return my calls or emails.If I had believed these people, I would be out in the cold with my kids. Thank God for showing the red flags and I went with my instincts to pay my holding deposit for another complex. If I could give them a negative I would. Unprofessional people! They need more training on how to deal with customer service.

I lived here over a year and the experience was mixed. I did enjoy my stay here for the most part but most of the upsell items don’t work. The gated doors don’t work. The laundry machines don’t work. The heater wasn’t operable most of the year. The app for the laundry machine didn’t work. The keys are often a nightmare to operate and the locks die often. The front office was helpful most of the time but once I said I was moving everything felt vindictive. I was hit was a surprise 30-day cancellation policy that was never clear. I had already cleared my lease and was living day to day. The front office said I could leave at anytime but that was a lie. I did have my car broken into and had a lot of valuable items stolen. Lived here for a little over 6 months. The building on Oliva Ave has a major problem with ants that they are either doing nothing about, or not enough about. They come in from every outlet, window, baseboard.. even my damn air conditioner mounted into the wall. I've even seen them crawling out of my bathroom sink drain and faucet. Every tree around this building is covered in thousands of them, so it's clear there's a massive colony around here, and all they'll do is send a pest control guy out "on mondays" to spray your baseboards. I had to have spent $200 on ant control spray and traps out of pocket the last 6 months just to try and manage it myself.
