Lakewood Isles Apartments

PLEASE READ- DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have lived here for a year now and have had my car broken into, car STOLEN, and have had several experiences with homeless crackheads inside the building endangering my safety. The only competent person is management is Anne who has been helpful but unfortunately she got promoted and does not work there anymore. When my car was stolen they expected me to pay around $300 to replace my keys. Everyone in management was a nightmare other than Anne who was the only competent one willing to have a conversation. Furthermore, they failed to notify me that you have to put a 60 day notice in before my LEASE WAS UP or else they were going to charge me nearly $2000 for an “improper notice”. Do yourself a favor and don’t live here. This place is a dump. It smells bad. The apartments are designed weird and you have to pick between it being dark or people being able to see into your bedroom and living room. Theft in the laundry room and package room is a common occurrence. I once found a used needle in the washer as I was pulling out my clothes. Don’t even think about saying anything to management though. You will be blamed for not getting your stuff fast enough

Do yourself a favor and don’t get underground parking. They do not plow the hill down to the ramp and you will get stuck. All winter, there is a car that attempts to get up the hill for 20-30 mins at a time and causes the LARGEST noise and management won’t do anything about it. If you work from home or want underground parking, highly suggest living elsewhere

I have been living at Lakewood Isles for almost 18 months, and I have had a very pleasant experience here thus far. I've always had very prompt and transparent service from the leasing office and maintenance. Amenities are new and improved, the building itself is very spacious, neighbors are quiet, and the location is amazing. While my studio apartment was small for my taste, my new 2-bedroom on this property is an excellent upgrade with new appliances and cabinetry, and plenty of space for my roommate and cat. I am excited to call my next apartment at Lakewood Isles home!

We lived in a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 years, and we enjoyed it immensely. The location was great for accessing uptown without being in uptown. The management was wonderful and were always available to answer questions. Maintenance concerns were fixed quickly. We didn’t love our noisy upstairs and downstairs neighbors, alas apartment complexes aren’t great with sound proofing. The screened balcony was great, and our cats loved it. Parking was a nightmare if you have two cars and don’t want to pay extra for a garage space. The street is often parked up especially in winter. We decided to move for an upgrade to a two bedroom, and there weren’t any two bedrooms available at the time of move. They have also implemented new security measures, which is great.
