Lakeville Woods

At the time when I lived there they had black mold. I was told never to use that word in the office ever again. The management was really poorly and they kept my deposit even though the apartment wasn't spic and span condition and I got a great move out review so I think they kind of scam people for their deposit

The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The building is a bit run down with older carpets in the hallways and out of date furnishings in the common areas, but the apartments themselves are fairly well maintained and appealing. The so-called cherry cabinets are not cherry wood, but rather covered with a faux cheery wallpaper like covering. It doesn't look bad but it's clear it's not cherry wood when you notice the edges peeling up. While hard wood floors would be better the dark brown/gold, medium priced carpet inside the apartments looks pretty good and doesn't show dirt easily. The on-site manager has a sweet personality but is not responsive at all to phone messages or texts. The Lakeville Woods building and facilities are great. Overpriced for certain but you know that going into it. We were there for 7 months. It took 6 weeks to do 2 maintenance jobs despite 3 work orders being submitted. The maintenance man was very nice until they let him go (or he left) during those 6 weeks. Stonebridge Communities should really consider who they put in as property manager. She was petty and unpleasant when she found out we weren't staying with them longer. We actually did try to lengthen our stay but we caught her in a lie about the lease. No apologies when she was caught. Pity. Nice place. Poor management. We've been living here for a year now. We have had a good experience here at Lakeville Woods. Whenever we have had a special maintenence request or property concern, it's been dealt with promptly. Property management is easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. Whenever there is scheduled maintenance, management is very diligent to give adequete notice, usually many weeks in advance. There are some negative reviews here, some from people that have never even lived here, but take into account the many residents that don't leave a review that I know have had a positive experience.

I have been a resident at Lakeville Woods for almost 4 years now and could not have asked for a better experience here. Christina and John are both absolutely amazing!! They love to say hello and have both gone out of their way to help me whenever I have needed something. I would highly suggest getting to know them both (I promise you wont regret it), they are always so much fun to chit chat with. Not only have they quickly helped/repaired any apartment issues I have ever had over the years, but they have held community events where they have given out coffee, ice cream, prizes, and more. It truly is a wonderful place to live, these two have done so much here and have created a great sense of community. I am extremely thankful for everything they do and am very grateful to be a resident he
