Lakeside Flats

I have lived here in a little alcove/studio apartment, on the lake side of the complex since 2020 and have loved it. The amenities are nice and the complex is incredibly dog friendly. The staff is attentive and prompt to respond to issues such as lock-outs during off-hours, which has happened to me! The only reason I am not renewing my lease is to move in with my partner that lives a few hours away. I will miss it here - especially the views - you absolutely cannot beat it. You will not get better views than here!

I really love the location of Lakeside Flats! The apartment size and amenities are wonderful! I love having an in unit washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The gym and yoga room are great to have on site and the view of the lake is amazing. The underground parking and party room are also huge bonuses! I like living here a lot!

I loved this place until the unnecessary forced changes due to property owners not leaving well enough alone. The payment portal we had before gave rewards and help build credit. And now as of yesterday we have to switch over to some other trashy portal that doesn't do anything good. And surprise surprise still paying an arm and a leg for rent. Residents have been leaving dog poop outside as well as constantly battling the smell of weed in the halls ( Kaylee has been fighting both of those but her hands are tied if she don't know the culprits) some of us relied on the credit reporting system to help build our credit to bug a house and that got taken away. This was the 1st apt complex I looked at and didn’t need to look any further! I met apt leasing agent, Lexy and had an immediate connection with her! She has such a sweet magnetic personality! I couldn’t sign my lease fast enough! She helped me through the process and has been there for me and others in many ways since I moved here in June. Later on, I met the apt mgr, Birgita who is great and and together they are both go getters and always have an open door. They also have fun special events, meet & greets & just has an awesome Holiday party for all the tenants and was able to bring a guest. It’s been 6 months and I’m very happy here. I look forward to at least another year or more here.

Update from previous review: We have lived at Lakeside Flats for about five years now. The staff are wonderful. The place is quiet and clean and we love that outdoor lit walking path along the lake. It also has easy access to major roads and looking at the weather map on TV you know exactly where you are - right where 35W and 35E come together !!! thank you for making the place so comfortable❣️
