Lakeshore Appraisal

I don't usually post reviews like this, but I found this appraiser to be smug, overconfident, but most importantly, flat out wrong in his assessment of my building's value. He walked into my building and told me right away that my rents were "much higher than the market." False. It took me less than a week to find my last two renters there, and I haven't even had a month of apartment vacancy in the last seven years. Based on this appraiser's selection of one "good" comp--which I looked at myself a few years ago and passed on because it was a dump--he grossly undervalued my property and ultimately killed my refinance (but still left me with the bill). If an appraiser doesn't think they can find good comps, then they should pass on the job. Stay away from this guy. He's in it for himself on
