We've been living at Lakes at Pembroke for six years now, and it's been a truly pleasant and peaceful environment. Recently, we upgraded to a newly renovated two-bedroom apartment that looks absolutely beautiful with its all-white decor. During our transfer from one apartment to another, Rhina was incredibly helpful and made the process very smooth, and we also want to thank the manager, Lianette, for giving us that final little push to get the approval through. We'd also like to give a special shout-out to the maintenance staff, especially Omar, who has always been attentive and quick to help whenever we've needed anything. I regret ever signing a lease at Lakes at Pembroke. The leasing process was manipulative — I applied, they ran my credit and background & approved me - only to call the next day and say the unit wasn't available & tried to upsell me into a pricier unit, I agreed because I was in a bind. Then it happened AGAIN, 30 minutes before picking up my keys I was told that unit was also not available, due to an employee error is what I was told. My hands were tied, movers scheduled I took what they had available - my mistake ...The apartment was infested with roaches, and management was slow and unhelpful in addressing it. Cosmetic renovations were poorly done, and the place felt dirty and neglected, yet they advertise it as "luxury". Communication with the office was terrible - expect to follow up m

Worse tour ever, no customer service etiquette. We were brushed off by the lady in the front office. Definitely do not recommend 👎🏽 the property is ok but definitely needs improvement. The staff 👎🏽

Charging this much for amenities and security that's this inadequate, dirty, and broken, is insanity. Everything you see on their webpage is for show. I’ve never seen so many chicken wing bones thrown around in a pool area as often as I do here! - In the past year and a half I've lived here the gate has been closed for maybe a month in total, it only ever works for two weeks tops and then it takes them another 6 months to even think to repair it. - Leasing office is allergic to picking up their phones after you move in. - Don't rely on reviews from people that haven't even moved in yet, the leasing agent asks you to write a google review the moment you sign the lease. - Appliances are old and dirty and they WILL break on you.
