Lakeland Inn

Small inn family owned and operated, the staff is friendly and welcoming and they are pet friendly. The rooms are small, but very clean. The shower is a little small and it could use some updating, but excellent for the cost. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because while the rooms are non-smoking, there are ash cans right outside many of the rooms and I had to walk through smoke to get to my vehicle. Being asthmatic, this was a concern for me.

The staff and residents at this Hotel/Inn are absolutely wonderful. The rooms feel like you're in your own room at home, each room is completely different, and very unique. Central air conditioning, fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TVs and ceiling fans. Very comfortable beds. They also offer apartments with full kitchens and separate bedrooms. They have a nice pool, and great on site amenities. Would recommend to travelers or long term residents.

Dreams were very nice. The best thing is no phone in the rooms. Everything within Arm's Reach. Really enjoying it the air conditioning is working fantastic and after spending Sunday Monday Tuesday and except for Wednesday night when I went to my brothers with no air conditioning trust me it feels good. And the best thing is I ain't got to cook and clean up yet. I just don't want to have to go through the house and face that anytime soon.

High rates and the manager there is not very friendly. I'd drive to Valdosta first, as the rooms are not only cheaper, but motels there have friendlier management, and they are Not pet friendly! I asked if he would allow my house trained Yorkie, He very quickly, informed me that he had a No pet policy. No if ands or buts ! I Don't recommend this place at all. You'd be better off to drive to Valdosta. They've got many good motels & hotels there.

I would rate lower than one star if i could, the room smelled like a ashtray and the shower was filthy, it looks like this place hasnt had a thorough cleaning in a decade. Also the owner is really doing powertool work at 9 pm like go to bed man.
