Lake Pointe Apartments

I literally just moved in and the apartment already needs multiple repairs. All the wall heaters are dingy/loose and need repairs, my dish washer is disgusting, the bathtub doesn't have a drain hole, the front door is LOOSE, and the a/c barley works and is old and possibly moldy. Also, despite asking for a garage a month before moving in, they gave me one that's about a quarter mile away from my unit so I have to walk there every time I go out. Edit: now my shower's not working. Also, there's not hot water at night or early in the morning. Crime is also very high here. Car just got broken in to.

I have lived here going on 2 years. This will be my last year. Overall it’s been okay. One of my many issues with this place is the littering. There is always an absurd amount on garbage everywhere. In the past maybe 5 months, people have been “missing” the garbage can while throwing it out. Hence the photos. I have called and complained. I have sent emails with pictures. I’m told that maintenance will clean it up. It never happens. There is a sign right near the trash that there’s a littering fine but no cameras in sight to catch the person doing it. The litter that gets left everywhere gets ran over by lawn care ppl. It shreds and looks even worse. My experience living here was overall very good! I think rent is super fair given the size of the apartments, all the closet space, and free parking. We did have to put in a fair number of maintenance requests, but both management and maintenance were super responsive. All the staff I interacted with were great! I didn’t find other tenants for be noisy or disruptive. My only complaint is the trash. Residents left trash everywhere inside the apartment building and outside on the grounds. It might be a good idea to enforce a fine for littering and/or having someone to pick up trash. Our biggest reason for moving out was just wanting to upgrade to a nicer apartment with an in-unit washer dryer & other amenities. My experience with lake pointe apartments is stellar. I have lived here 6 years and have always found the lake pointe team to be very friendly and professional. I recently, had an issue with my heat. Kenny from maintenance was outstanding. He definitely deserves 5 stars. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He finished what needed to be done in a timely manner, and also helped me with installing new batteries in my fire detector. Kenny just said yes to my request and got the job done Kenny and the whole team deserve my 5 star review. Thanks, also to Jordan for putting in the work order. I absolutely love love it here! The apartment is beautiful, the amenities are top-notch, and the management is always responsive and helpful.
