We purchased a new home from Lacrosse Homes and settled in October. Overall, the experience was mixed, with both positives and areas that could have been handled better. For the most part we are happy in our new home. On the plus side, LaCross was flexible with non-standard selections and only charged the actual cost of upgrades, which we appreciated. There were also a few pleasant surprises, such as an upgraded sliding glass door we weren’t expecting. If you ask for something specific, they are generally willing to accommodate it without excessive markup. The main challenge was communication between the sales team and the build team. My husband and I closed on our Lacrosse Home in Dec '17. Overall, I will say the experience went smooth-ish, as much as a new build does. We have had very minimal issues as well and have been happy, until April 2025, when a gutter repair company noticed my roof was rotting. I called a roofing company and they identified all the issues that have existed since the house was built. Somehow, this passed inspection, but I should have hired my own inspector. I spoke with Loretta from Lacrosse this morning to address this issue, and I have to say, she is extremely aggressive. Couldn’t be happier with our experience with Lacrosse homes. Not only do we love the house but we love the people we met at Lacrosse along the way. They were straightforward and honest, communicated well throughout the process, and delivered on everything they promised. Great business that I would highly recommend.

Loretta is the worst person to speak to. She is so demeaning and rude! I have never been treated with so much contempt, especially when I’m dealing with our insurance. You can’t deny someone access to their work order. A brand new home that has leaked repeatedly! And then I was told that it wasn’t that bad?!? When it leaks after being “fixed” twice means it is that bad. She actually called me a bad name to my husband then denied to answer his call the second time. Absolute horrible customer service!
