Kylin Property Management

Kylin Properties has been nothing short of a nightmare. They took our $200 application fee, approved us, and then demanded a deposit nearly three times the usual rate. We agreed and began transferring the money, with their assurance that everything was finalized. I even set up utilities—only for them to call later, rescinding our approval, possibly due to our service animal. I asked for a refund on the fees, especially since we had the financial stability to prepay a year’s rent and multiple co-signers if needed. They refused. I had to dispute the charges through my credit card company just to get our money back. Unfortunately, this wasn’t our first bad experience with Kylin. Kylin Property Management is terrible! We rented one of their properties for a few years and they were so unresponsive. Crystal McGriff is so unkind and rude. We had two appliances stop working and it took a week just to get someone to respond to our numerous texts, emails and phone calls. When we finally got hold of them, it was another few weeks for the items to be replaced. When we moved out, the house was left immaculate and they did not return one bit or our deposit citing all these reasons they were keeping it. We had to escalate the matter and get attorneys involved. They do not respond to anything on the weekends (even have voicemail messages saying they will respond on Monday) even though they are managing houses that can have issues at any time of the day or night. I lived in one of their rental homes for 3 years and felt it was important to let people know my experience. I do not recommend. I wrote a detailed review as to why but they had it removed. I find this company to have extremely bad communication and feel they treat their tenants poorly. I had a really bad experience renting from them. I consistently brought them my concerns and they never cared to make it right.

It’s ridiculous that you need all that stuff to get into a place with them. This days people make the money but the credit is not that great. I’m talking like over $30 dollars an hour and thats still not good enough. Because they want you to have incredible credit. It’s bad enough with bad reviews. So please read the reviews before applying.

I got a referral to Kylin’s Real State from a friend. I didn't like the way this company treats their customers. I think this company does not respect its customers and is not committed to meeting deadlines. My family and I have all our stuff in a truck and we haven't received the keys to our new house rented through this company. We'll have to sleep in a hotel. Unfortunately, your company did not comply with what we were told and we fulfilled all the requirements of the company, such as payments and necessary services. We have a son who is a special child and is being extremely affected by failures in his routine due to this delay and lack of communication by the company. It is now 4pm and no call back.
