Kolopua Apartments

This affordable housing complex built right along a highway with no barrier of any sort to obstruct the highway traffic noise from the apartments that have no insulation in the walls. The construction poorly followed through. There are on going major maintenance projects on the property that interferes with the tenants well-being. Police are often called onto the property for mainly violent related activity. Lock your car, theft is a problem. Drive with caution, unsupervised children run through the streets without safety practice or concern. The company EAH that manages the property refers to Kolopua Apartments as Projects.

pros *apartments are nice inside. dark laminate wood flooring, *units are fairly good size ( my fav, the two bedroom with seperate living and dining area, with connect bar in kitchen, good for family to eat at) one and 3 bdrm units have a kitchen living area that runs together not my favorite * you recieve your mail at apartment complex at mailbox next to office CONS * foremost the humongous cell phone tower that is about 20 feet from nearest apartment, look at photos to see more. * supposed FAMILY HOUSING but if you have a family, you must be perfect, barley visable and never heard, you musnt ride bikes skateboards or push yr kids around on toys, if you do you'll b violating one of there MANY house rules, and could face eviction if incident is repeated *Too many rules and restricit

I have been on the waiting list or at least 3 years I haven't heard from anyone left messages no one contact me back. Im a resident of Hanalei for over 40 years and still seeking affordable housing. They been really horrible on there communication. WASSUP. People deserve a call back or know whats up on there status on there application. NOTHING.
