Tiffany was the only saving grace. I have given notice of lease due to job opportunity. I have been given the run around as I AM the one trying to pay what I owe and you cannot get a straight answer. There is a woman named Christina who always states she’s not a leasing manager whenever a question is asked, so then she should not be answering emails or phones and is also short and rude when trying to speak to someone. I have sent my lease and no where does it describe what the penalty is for breaking lease as my company needs to pay the fines and we cannot even get proper documentation. I have been chasing them down for 3 weeks to ensure I leave everything correctly. I used to live at Knox Village Apartments in New Windsor, and I moved out on August 30th. It’s now almost November and I still haven’t received my security deposit. The service has been terrible — I’ve emailed several times, sent a certified letter, and even went in person. They keep saying “everything has to be done by email,” and they refuse to give me a phone number for the main office. Every time I follow up, they just say they’ll “check,” and then I never hear back.

I currently live in Knox Village, and I honestly cannot recommend this place to anyone. I’m writing this from a dummy account because the property manager here has a reputation for wrongfully evicting tenants who speak out or leave negative reviews. Here are just a few of the major issues: 1. Poor Maintenance – The property is not well cared for. Trash is often scattered in various areas around the complex. 2. Damaged Roads – The roads within the complex are in terrible condition and have not been properly maintained. 3. Pool Delay – It’s July 24th, and the pool just opened. It should’ve been open since May. 4. Apartment Condition – The kitchen cabinets are barely hanging on and look like they could fall at any moment. There are so many negative experiences with this place that quite frankly there is just too much for me to mention. Starting from when I initially moved in, I was provided an apartment that had several issues that needed repair. I was advised that within the first month that everything would be addressed and corrected. About half the things were completed and the other half till this day are still pending. They have gone through so many employees and managers that there is no consistency or proper management of this complex. Rent continues to rise and yet we are provided a complex that in no way reflects the cost to live here.
