Kings Cove Luxury Apartments

It has taken the staff more then a month to accommodate my broken washer and dryer. While i have been informed there is only one maintance man, the staff has refused to help in any way. Only offering to leave a unit open to do laundry in. This only lasted for a day and now they want to lock it again. For the price of the apartment I expected better service and working appliances upon move in.

Scammy and rude people. I was given a quote by Amber at the beginning of my lease with a “$1,000” off November deal and 100% my fault for not reading my contract. This was not what i had signed unfortunately. When I went in today to talk to the Manager I was faced with A nasty tattooed lady who was extremely rude and ugly to me and my mother. Talking down to me and treating me like straight garbage. I had to calm down since i'm 9 months pregnant i was shaking of how angry she made me. Anyway, i had no intention of arguing with anyone i simply went in to sign a termination lease paper and to show her the initial quote i was given by Amber as i was confused why my 3rd month had so many fees and higher that previous months. I lived here for about a year now, and maintenance has not been consistent at all about fixing my apartments maintenance requests. It has been months of me, trying to get the same things fixed. My hot water does not stay hot for a long period of time, so taking a shower or bath sometimes is very unpleasant. The water just shuts off for no reason without notice. Also, I would like to add that the apartment gyms air conditioner has been broken for three months..

I have lost a fridge full of groceries 4X in the last 7 months. Management sometimes blames me and tell me I left the door to the fridge open. If they care enough to do so they replace the motherboard. This is the second time they insist only the motherboard has to be replaced, by now I know my groceries will soon end up in the trash again. They refuse to replace the fridge although this is a frequent occurrence which disrupts my live dramatically. I have a three year old and that makes no difference to them. Managements attempt to be helpful was to let me store my groceries in a vacant unit which is left UNLOCKED 24/7 and is currently being used by other tenants to do laundry. They take absolutely no responsibility for anything, and could care less about the people who reside here

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years, and I just decided today that I will not be renewing my lease. Now, I’ll be transparent — the apartments themselves are nice. The community is quiet, and there are very nice people here. I will say, however, we have been through several management companies since I’ve been here, and it hasn’t even been two years yet. It’ll be two years that I’ve lived here in April. Unfortunately, I’m one of the people who lost their job — I was laid off in August — and I will say that this complex has done nothing to make things easier. If anything, I feel like they keep coming up with new policies that make it harder for residents who are experiencing difficulties.
