Worst experience: Debbie and her “team” are extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Communication with Keyrenter was a nightmare — they were consistently unresponsive and unprofessional. They charge a $50 monthly fee just to be able to pay rent, on top of the money they already make from the landlord. Whenever there was an issue with the house, we were told to handle it ourselves or pay for it if we wanted it fixed. As renters, we were also expected to cover regular maintenance that is the landlord’s responsibility, such as AC servicing, shutter cleaning, and more. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid this management company at all costs: 1. If you want your security deposit back. 2. If you don’t want to deal with predatory practices and a lack of professionalism. 3. They do not have a physical office — the Georgia Ave address listed here does not exist. 4. If you need immediate help in case something happens to your property. 5. Being told, “We will wait to fix that issue after you leave,” among many other reasons that made this the worst renting experience I’ve had in three different countries and six different cities. Oh, and they do not reply to messages unless they are about money.

Please do your thorough research before you hire Debbie the owner of Keyrenter Management to manage your rental property. This is by far the worse property management service I have ever experienced. I read from prior reviewers on here that Debbie flags negative reviews until it gets removed by Google so I will be so intentional to check this platform often so another client doesn’t experience the BAD and HURTFUL management we experienced in the hands of Debbie the owner of Keyrenter Management company. **Debbie seems to be reporting every negative review on her page to to try and hide experiences. I will periodically check to make sure she isn't hiding my review for no reason. This is extremely disappointing. Be extremely wary of this rental service. Debbie consistently gave our landlords illegal advice against Maryland law (taking our entire security deposit as a penalty, rather than for damages only). Some of her reviews are from friends and family. She has consistently been shody with her communication and threatening in her messaging. She would frequently be annoyed and bizarrely unhelpful.
