We explored four other builders in town before we decided to build our dream home with Kenric Fine Homes ( Ken Brentgartner). We are about 90% done with our build process. The quality of craftsmanship is evident in every single corner of our home. Kenric is exceptional at answering all our texts/ calls questions, flexible in meeting with us and going above and beyond. We made several changes throughout the process so yes there were few hiccups here and there but honestly very FEW. He particularly walked through all our concerns without sacrificing our vision. Ken is very professional. He provides detailed line-item breakdown of costs, ensuring complete transparency and helping us stay on budget without compromising our vision. We purchased a new home from Kenric Fine Homes in July 2023. Throughout the process, communication with Ken was difficult; he often did not respond to emails, was at times verbally aggressive during phone calls and meetings, and missed several scheduled repair appointments. Addressing all of items on our punch list took over a year and a half, with some items ignored or not repaired correctly. The most significant issue involved the driveway, which was damaged during cleanup of building materials between the final walkthrough and closing, resulting in gashes, scratches, cracks, and missing concrete. This is what your house will look like if you are next to one of “Kenric’s “fine” homes”. You don’t want to be next door to one of the houses he is building. Look at his review below mine. Doesn’t pay his vendors? Floods the next door neighbors yard unnecessarily. Think about it. Is this what you want? Disrespects your new neighbors and can’t keep his vendors paid? And don’t forget to check out his BBB reviews. Pretty telling. This builder does nothing to protect adjacent properties.
