Do not live here! I recently had to urgently move out because of worsening maintenance issues. I heard mice in the kitchen appliances, in the defunct heating unit, and scratching and chewing in the walls in the middle of the night. I saw several in my kitchen and found droppings behind the fridge, in the old heating unit, and under my couch. I lived on the 7th floor, so I can only imagine how much worse the issue is on other floors. Last year, the unit two floors below me had a fire. I only knew to evacuate when I smelled smoke and heard glass shattering and looked out the window to see firefighters breaking the windows to that unit via ladder. Living at Kenmore Apartments was one of the most difficult and distressing experiences of my life. I stayed there for two years, and during that time, I endured ongoing issues that were never properly addressed by management. Rodent Infestation: The apartment was infested with mice. We reported this repeatedly, and the only response was a few cheap traps and later some poison. The mice never went away. We saw them almost every night, heard them scratching and running around as we tried to sleep, and they would literally walk around us while we lay on the floor. Management kept telling us "don’t worry," while doing the bare minimum. Severe Water Damage: The water pipes broke twice. The worst building! If I could rate this place zero star I would. Save your money and go somewhere else. Laundry is always broken down, management here suck, James, Ashley and Sharron are the managers of the building and could care less about you. They talk nasty things behind your back and will never respond to any phone calls or emails that you send them about complaints. Lack of communication, respect, and lack of care at this apartment. When you have an issue with your apartment, they just blow you off and will blame things on you. They never take accountability. Moral of the story, DONT MOVE HERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE

My brother Gregory is and has been under several Dr's care. ) in the ER and hospitals 16 times in the last 3 months. When home he has caught up on all rent owed. A homeless woman got in the Apt.and he couldn't make her leave. She ruined the place. Took his money , especially when he was hospitalized. I called the manager of The Kenmore several times to Beg for them to get her out, but they refused to help. The rats/mice and roaches didn’t help his mental state. Unfortunately family are in other states. So , we finally got police to help to get the woman out last Spring ( under the threat of arrest)while he was hospitalized for 3 months. While I was living at the kenmore it was the most uncomfortable experience . Staff are RUDE, maintenance was RUDE. Property manager was highly unprofessionally talking about people business at the concierge desk and just in general. I should not hear other people business or my business being told to other concierge members in a place I live in. I don’t recommend anybody moving in the kenmore . I was told i had ptsd and I needed help because my children and I heard mice. Coming to find out the other residents had mice plus I seen mice running in and out of other people’s apartments so not only did they make me feel crazy that is highly unprofessional to say to a resident . I also been out of this apartment for 2 months I still have not received my deposit . They said it takes 45 days. P
