Adjust your expectations of customer service. I was a buyer represented by another agent - buying a property in Goldsboro NC. They represented the seller - the broker was JoAnn Stewart. The first problem was trying to access the property - we set an appointment and confirmed with the broker. The lockbox was so old, we had to wait for the agent to be available to come to the property to get in. It took about 45 minutes for her to be able to come to us. My property inspector later had an issue getting into the property with that same lockbox. Old equipment. Second issue, made a date/time to deliver earnest money - selling agent decided that day she would rather eat dinner with friends than keep her commitment to meet me to receive the funds - was told to drop in the mail. Very disappointed. Met with a property’s listing agent from this office at the property. He handed me a GIS printout of the wrong property. Knew very little about the property. We had questions and he said he would follow up and get to us. Told him we were interested, he said there were no offers in the property yet and that he had to figure out more about the place. Figured we had some time to complete our offer. Next morning we find out from someone at church that property is pending. What a waste of time!
