Absolutely don’t buy here. I’ve had nothing but issues. Not minor ones either. I’ve had contractors in my home every week and I’ve only been here 5 months. You’re money is best spent elsewhere

I'm here to share my experience with KB Homes (Palm Bay unit Gardens at Waterstone), specifically with the representative Peter J. Pappas. This serves as a crucial warning before you close with this builder, which, in my opinion (and my bad luck), is being very poorly represented by Peter Pappas. My husband and I looked at many houses from different builders, trying to realize our dream of our first home! But among so many, I simply loved and was enchanted by the KB Homes house in every detail. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to buy the house, we decided to close the contract quickly and finally have our dream home. We really like our home. We bought a lot with water view and love the view. However, the fence HOA guidelines we received prior to purchase are totaly false. HOA is making us put up a 6 foot fence all the way to the water, than 4ft IRON (yes I said Iron) at the very back property line. This is blocking the very view we love. Does not make any sense. No other community works this way and they are not following the plainly written guidelines they have provided . So my advice to any prospective buyers, don't buy a water lot or pay a premium at Gardens at Waterstone in Palm Bay if you need a fence. HOA will just make you block it.
