KB Home Camas Ridge

Overpriced for a detached condo. While it appears to be a single-family home, it’s actually a condo with fractional land ownership (1/x of the land, where x is the number of homes in the development). The floor plans make the homes appear spacious on paper, but after visiting a finished KB home in Lake Stevens with the same plan, we found them to be surprisingly small compared to homes built by other builders like DR Horton and Adamant Homes in the same school district. Many of the lots either have sloped and steep backyards or minimal backyard space. For a similar or lower price, you could find better-sized homes in the same Northshore district. The commute to Bellevue or Redmond is shorter from here, which I did consider as a positive.
