Kay's Crossing

The place is amazing. The building and units are really well maintained and having a heated parking garage is a crazy good perk. Being able to walk 30 seconds and be on the frontrunner station is something I won't take for granted again. Whenever I've had a maintenance request, the issue is solved really quickly. I feel like the walls are much thicker and have better soundproofing than anywhere else I've lived. Its been a great place to live and the people and staff here have always been friendly and keep the place nice.

I currently live here right now, and let me tell you the management is so frustrating. You do not feel heard about your concerns, and this place is simply ran poorly. My fiancé‘s truck was involved in a hit and run located at the parking lot here, and there were no cameras covering where he got hit?! Even though we pay a $20 cam fee every month, along with a bunch of other random miscellaneous fees they tack on. The elevators are always out of service, the hallways are always dirty, The gym is always out of sanitary wipes, they don’t replace, or fix the gym machines that break down, and the dog park is run down and poorly maintained. If you are considering living here, beware, looks can be deceiving. Make sure to read your entire lease agreement so you're not shocked when you have to pay all the extra fees on top of your rent each month. If you have questions or concerns, they'll have to wait until the manager decides she wants to come to work. Parking, UTA owns the parking lot, so watch out for random parking tickets because you're not allowed to park there. Your security deposit, they will keep most of it, regardless of how immaculate your apartment is when you move out. Yes, the amenities are great, as long as the elevators are not broken, and the pool and hot tub have been cleaned out. The 12 months I spent in this apartment complex was the worst experience I've ever had.

Currently living here, and the amount of fee’s they add onto your rent is astounding. Why am I paying for electric, water, and heat for the common area that I don’t use? I also reached out to management about explaining these fee’s better as it’s not in my leasing agreement and I’ve received NO WORD. I cannot wait to leave this place. They also block your option to pay a specific amount, in which I had to do because of all their hidden added fees over the past couple of months. Beware of this place.

I loved living at Kay’s Crossing Apt. Great amenities and the commute to SLC was amazing as well. I made some great friends and memories. I will say that the Staff was very nice and helpful.
