Katy Place Apartments

I have lived here for a little longer than a year. What surprises me the most is how they handle maintenance. I can place a maintenance request at 7 am and they will repair everything at 8 am on that same day. It takes me longer to decide to ask for maintenance than what it takes them to fix issues in the apartment. Overall, it is a very well managed apartment complex

I have lived at Katy Place for 13 years. After many years as a homeowner, this is now the place I am happy to call home. Positive comments are being made about our new property manager who is very detailed and takes her job seriously. The maintenance crew is great. They usually come quickly, depending upon the serious nature of the issue. The community also reflects the good care of the grounds keeper. Many updates have been made during the last few years, inside and out. I have the two bed/ two bath layout, which is a spacious arrangement. I am always proud to have family and friends visit.

I moved to Katy Place July of 2023. So far my experience here has been amazing. It is a quiet, pleasant place to live. The staff here is wonderful, maintenance has always addressed my concerns promptly, the office staff is friendly and willing to listen to concerns and comments on how to make things better. Plan on staying here for awhile. 02/04/2025 Update on my review. I have been here nearly 2 years and I still love it here. The manager is amazing, she listens to concerns and addresses them immediately. The maintenance team is diligent in their duty to keep the apartments maintained. This winter has been challenging but they have kept up with the snow removal. I love how quiet it is here and the proximity to the trail is great. I plan on being here a long while.

I lived at Katy Place fall 2019 through spring of 2023. Overall, a great location, often quiet area, spacious apartments. However, over the course of my time there, there were numerous staffing changes that made effective communication difficult including emails, phone calls, maintenance requests, office hours for package pickups, move out protocols. These concerns have lingered two months after my move out in regards to my security check. After several communication attempts I was able to talk to the property manager to understand what was going on. But like I mentioned above, great location! Would recommend for that. Concerns I would mention are staff turnovers that affect overall communication.

I really enjoyed living here my first year, and planned to stay for 5 years. They decreased in staff and changed management and I cannot say the quality has kept up. The renovations were rushed and some of mine are unfinished. I have currently been without consistent hot water for over a month. Maintenance was unable to get to it and my water was running at 56 degrees and was unusable for showers for 7 days in December. At this time I am able to shower for a few minuets and baths are not possible. A plumber was sent, and while the issue isn't fully resolved Katy Place stated that we are not able to use our bathtubs for baths (this was advertised as a feature when I enlisted as a tenant originally) and that I will need to pay for a plumber to have any further items fixed.
