Kalkaska Moose Lodge

Big lodge, touch tunes, no queen of hearts. Spaghetti for $5 on some Wednesdays. Tacos on Tuesdays. People not as friendly as some lodges but worth coming in for cocktail.

The Moose Lodge is not a Hotel. It is a place for members. Only members and their guests can eat and drink there. Consider it a private Bar for members only.

There food is awesome, I love Friday night fish fry.fry. Saturday night Chicken tenders are awesome.1 I'm not a member, but I have been there with friends and family member. I like going there for a night out with friends and family.

Disappointed with this place. Tried it 3 times over the last couple years but it's not at all like other Moose Lodges that are friendly and welcoming to all members. This one seems to be a big click, most people don't even acknowledge you. Could have gone to a public bar if I wanted that. On this occasion, the bartender ignored us until we loudly asked for service (we were sitting AT the bar). Then when I ordered a drink, mine was extremely weak, less than half the alcohol as a "regular" got nearby. Not a wisp of a smile except for her cronies. This was not our first such experience at this lodge. 3 stars because a few people have been nice and they do have a pretty full menu and decent (not great) food.

Sadly disappointed. Compared to other Moose that we are used to. No.Keno. at 7p on a Friday was pretty dead..
