We were renting from this sweet old man who rented us a one bedroom apartment for $650 a month and water/trash were included in the rent. This company bought it and immediately put the rent to $850 a month with no utilities included and raised the rent every subsequent year. The property is a one bedroom apartment next to train tracks (literally there's train tracks down the center of the road and the building is right at the railroad crossing so trains were honking at every hour of the day and night) 3 blocks away from a gas station that was frequently robbed and had black lights in the bathrooms so that people couldn't shoot up in there. Update: there were no chalk drawings on the interior walls. There were a child's chalk drawings on exterior brick that the rain can wash off.
